October 10, 2025: Chairman WAPDA Lt Gen Muhammad Saeed (Retd) today visited the WAPDA Administrative Staff College Islamabad, where he was briefed on the institution’s facilities, academic offerings, and ongoing training programs.
The Chairman had a detailed round of the facilities available at the Staff College including the academic block that houses class rooms, computer labs, library and reading room; auditorium, administrative block, hostel and sports arena etc. He also interacted with participants of the training course being conducted there. He shared his views with the course participants and the faculty members about significance of inculcating the sense of belonging with an organisation, commitment, professionalism, and the pursuit of best management practices related to the mega projects. He also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and skill development in shaping a dynamic and robust human resource.
The Chairman also planted a tree in the College premises to mark WAPDA’s commitment to environmental sustainability and green initiatives.
