The Project is located on Keyal Khwar Nallah, a right bank tributary of the Indus River in Lower Kohistan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, situated at a distance of 310 km from Islamabad on Karakoram Highway. It was completed in 2016 with an installed capacity of 128 MW and annual energy generation of 418 GWh.
