10 Cadets from Diamer on Fully-Funded WAPDA Scholarship Amongst New Entrants
April 4, 2026: The 23rd Entry of WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela joined the campus today after successfully completing the prescribed admission selection process. On this occasion, the parents were given a comprehensive overview of the facilities available on the campus, followed by an address by the Principal.
The faculty, along with the supporting staff, extended full assistance and guidance to facilitate the smooth settlement of the cadets into the new environment.
On the directive of the Chairman WAPDA, second group of 10 cadets from District Diamir (Gilgit-Baltistan), fully funded by WAPDA, also joined the College. It is pertinent to mention that WAPDA has been providing fully-funded scholarships to as many as 20 students belonging to District Diamer as its Corporate Social Responsibility at Diamer Basha Dam Project and in line with ‘2025 Agreement’ with an annual expense of Rs. 12.5 million per annum.
Additionally, nine cadets from Balochistan, sponsored by the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund and Pakistan Petroleum Limited have also joined on their fully sponsored scheme.
