The proposed Canal will off-take from the existing Bong Canal in District Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K). Canal Head Regulator will be located about 8 km downstream of Mangla Dam on New Bong Canal adjacent to Upper Jhelum Canal (UJC). Yulbo HPP ​The proposed dam site is located about 6 km upstream of Silbu and Hilbu villages and about 1.0 km downstream of Astaknala. Tungus Hydropower

The project area is located in a largely unpopulated area of Rondu valley, district Skardu. The dam site was identified on Indus River 54 km downstream of Skardu city and 0.5 km upstream of Tungas village. The powerhouse site is to be located 15 km downstream of dam site and 3 km upstream of Dambu

Phandar Hydropower

The project is located on Ghizer River near Phandar Lake to Chhashi Gol, 160 km North-West of Gilgit-Chitral Road and 772 km from Islamabad.It has an installed capacity of 80 MW and annual energy generation of 374 GWh.

Basho Hydropower

The project is located on Basho Lungma (Nullah) near Basho Village, 45 km downstream of Skardu Town. Basho Lungma is a left tributary of Indus River and is 704 km from Islamabad. (Gilgit-Baltistan). Salient Features: Design Discharge 5.0 m3/sec Gross Head 974 m Installed Capacity 40 MW Annual Energy 165 GWh

Thakot Hydropower

The project sites for Thakot I, II, and III are located 4km upstream of Besham, 12km downstream of Besham (Tentative), and 15km downstream of Thakot (tentative) respectively. According to feasibility study, completion date is proposed to be March 2020. Salient Features: Design Discharge 3,400 m3/sec Gross Head 159 m Installed Capacity

Patan Hydropower

The project is located on On Indus River about 3 km upstream of village Patan, 5km downstream of Keyal Khwar in KP Province. The powerhouse is situated on the left bank near Patan Village, 305 Km from Islamabad. It has a proposed installed capacity of 2400 MW and annual energy generation of 12,500 GWh.
