The project is located on Bhimber Nullah about 10 km u/s of Bhimber-Gujrat Road Bridge in District Bhimber, Azad Kashmir. The dam site is located on Chenab river about 5 km from the Chiniot city, District Chiniot and approximately 100 meter u/s of existing Railway Bridge.
