The financial matters of AFD-funded WAPDA Projects were discussed during the meeting. Member(Finance) WAPDA Naveed Asghar Chaudhry was also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AFD is providing Euro 351.5 million as loan for construction of WAPDA Projects, which include Mangla Dam Refurbishment Project, 2nd Rehabilitation Project of Warsak Hydel Power Station, Harpo Hydropower Project, Rehabilitation of Dargai Hydel Power Station and Capacity Enhancement of Chitral Hydel Power Station. Besides, AFD is also providing Euro 200,000 as grant for Dargai and Chitral Hydel Power Stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chairman WAPDA, in his welcome remarks, thanked AFD for lending a hand to WAPDA in generating clean, green and economically affordable hydel electricity for the country.
