· Financing
Agreement was signed between KfW, EAD (GOP) and
WAPDA on 06.09.2010 for grant of 670,000 Euro for up-dation
of feasibility study.
. Consultancy
Agreement for updation / review of Feasibility Study
was signed with M/s HARPO Hydropower Consultants JV's
on 20.12.2010 and consultant mobilized on March, 2011.

Consultants submitted Updated Feasibility Report on 19th
December, 2011.
.
EIA reports & Review Fee has been sent to EPA - GB for
issuance of NOC.
. Donor agencies Afd & Kfw have envisaged implement Harpo
& Basho in phased approach, considering one hydropower
project & transmission line in
phase-I and other hydropower project in next Phase.
.
GB Govt. has intimated their preference to implement
Harpo HPP alongwith transmission line in phase-I.
. PC-I
for implementation of Harpo HP alongwith transmission
line has been submitted to Ministry of Water & Power,
Islamabad for approval.
.
Concept clearance proforma for the subject is also
submitted to MOW&P on 28.02.2013.
.
A meeting of Member (Water) with Chief Secretary, Gilgit
Baltistan was held in Wapda House on 22.02.2013.
.
MOU for agreement between WAPDA & Gilgit Baltistan Govt.
is under preparation.
