O&M Wapda staff colony at Koghuzi Chitral is
substantially completed.
LOT-2 & 3.1
The civil work Contracts (Lot-2 & 3.1) have been
alloted to M/s SAMBU SARCO JV date of commencement
for the contract was 01.02.2011. Contractors have
been mobilized to site and following site activities
are completed/in progress.

Batching/crushing plant near powerhouse site is
completed & functional.

Batching plant at weir site completed and
functional.

Construction of 1st and 2nd Cement warehouse
completed and functional.

Raod to Surge chamber - Excavation partially
completed from RD 0+000 - 3+738.

Raod to Weir site - Excavation partially Completed
from RD 0+000 - 5+725.

Tunnel to Prussure tunnel - Excavation comleted from
Ch.0+000 to 0+064.8m.

Tunnel to Headrace tunnel - Site cleared for

Aeration Tunnel - excavation for 1st and 2nd bench

Headrace Tunnel Portal - Excavation for 1st, 2nd 3rd

Headrace Tunnel -Excavation completed from ch.0+000
to 0+0024 m.

Construction of the 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th Gabion wall
at right side of inlet Portal for Headrace tunnel
and Construction of 1st, 2nd and 3rd at left side
are completed Construction of Gabion wall at
Elevation 2043.5 m on both side of inlet portal for
Headrace tunnel is in progress.

Tenders for
Lot-3.2 (E&M Works) opened on 30.06.2011. and
awarded to M/s Rainpower-Alstom Grid-Indar - Al-Fajr
international.
LOT-4 Transmission Line
After authority has decided to invite bid
on post qualification basea, the bid submission date
for LOT-4 extended up to July 4, 2012
9- Consultancy agreement for construction supervision
has been signed, the consultant have been mobilized
at site.
