The proposed dam site is located across Nal River about 160 Km from District Awaran of Balochistan.

2. Scope of Work

Government of Pakistan intends to develop land and water resources of the country for irrigated agriculture development, hydropower, flood control, socio economic uplift, emancipation of poor and needy women of the area.

7. Salient Features

132 ft high concrete gravity dam will create gross storage of 66,900 AF and this storage will be used to irrigate 16,000 acres of land with high efficiency irrigation system alongwith hydropower generation of 300 KW.
