The proposed Naulong Storage Dam Project is located on Mula river at Sunt about 30 Kms from Gandawa City in Tehsil and District Jhal Magsi of Balochistan.

2. Scope of Work

Government of Pakistan intends to develop land and water resources of the country for irrigated agriculture development, hydropower, flood control, socio economic uplift, emancipation of poor and needy women of the area.

7. Salient Features

186 ft high zoned, earthfil dam will create gross storage of 0.242 MAF and this storage will be used to irrigate 47,000 acres of land with high efficiency irrigation system alongwith hydropower generation of 4.4 MW.
