WAPDA manpower needs to be continuously trained at all times to remain efficient and provide round the clock service. The training needs to be made competitive to help selection of the right man for the right job who should be able to handle enhanced responsibilities.

Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority

Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) was established through an Act of Parliament in 1958. The Authority consists of a Chairman and three Members (Water, Power and Finance).The functions of its Power wing are Hydel Power Generation and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of power houses. WAPDA’s mandate is, now development of water and hydropower resources in an efficient manner.
